Venice is a fish's dream

Venice is expressive, dreamlike, mysterious. Any place has an anecdote. Any place has a past, not necessarily important. There is also a private narration made up of many people capable of building the charm of the city.

The world legend of Venice starts with the enchantment of Piazza San Marco and ends in the life of the population.

Tiziano Scarpa is a Venetian novelist, capable of highlight humanity, altruism, cordiality besides the toughness and strength of his citizens. In his, book Venice is a fish (Feltrinelli, Milan, 2000) he describes his particular vision. He abandons the cosmic beauty of Venice to enter the peculiarity of the inhabitants, the difficulty of living in the wonderful Serenissima. He jokes about how young couples have to find tiny streets for their effusions. He knows every calla and every pebble, he can narrate all the secrets.
