Peter Pan è l'eterno giovane nato dalla scrittura del romanziere inglese J. M. Barrie. Peter Pan non vuole crescere, vuole continuare a volare nella sua isola.

Il suo personaggio è portato in teatro da una produzione totalmente italiana guidata dal regista Maurizio Colombi.

Lo spettacolo ha debuttato l'8 dicembre 2006 e ha vinto prestigiosi premi.

L'opera si deve alla grande musicalità di Edoardo Bennato, un cantautore che unisce a una musica moderna a testi legati alla tradizione. Così si impossessa di una storia divertente ma con un fondo di realtà moderna e gli concede una aria di favoleggiante. Ha riadattato le canzoni più importanti direttamente per lo spettacolo.

L'opera è presentata al Royal Opera House Muscat iniziata nel 2007 e inaugurata nel 2011.

Peter Pan is the eternal young man born from the imagination of the English novelist J. M. Barrie. Peter Pan does not want to grow up, he wants to continue flying in his island.

His character is brought to the theater by a totally Italian production led by the director Maurizio Colombi.

The show premiered on December 8, 2006 and won prestigious awards.

The opera is possibile for the great musicality of Edoardo Bennato, a singer-songwriter who combines modern music with texts linked to tradition. So he gets hold of an amusing story but with a background of modern reality and gives it a fabulous air. He adapted the most important songs directly for the show.

The work is presented at the Royal Opera House Muscat started in 2007 and inaugurated in 2011.
