How will we live together? is the title of the 17th International Architecture Exhibition, curated by architect Hashim Sarkis.

Scheduled for 2020, it has been postponed to 2021 due to Covid. The future challenge, where and how to live, is the most important to face. The migrant pressures accentuate the need to find space for aggregation, for participation. The Architecture Biennale studies how to understand some of these characteristics. Coexistence must start in the cities. Cities are the attraction magnet of all the world's instabilities, they become full of marginalised both materially and metaphorically. Yet, there is no other solution. From the conflicts and discussions inside the metropolis, a new place must be found, where strangers talk to each other, creating a modern hope.
